Paying for lessons for the both of us was brutal. My wife and I are hopefully going to be singing in Rome together this summer. I sang Tamino and she sang the 2nd Lady. We took our baby with us (she is now almost 2) and we had a great time. We decided to make the move to NYC. I am already in NY, staying with some relatives and my wife is staying with her family until we figure out our living arrangements. It is difficult, but we're making it work. Anyone else there? It has worked great for me! Yes I worked full time while I built the business, but since building the business, I can be a full time dad and sing! I also produce concerts and will eventually set up scholarships for inner city children to study classical music, who can't afford it! I would not be able to do this with a traditional job and they little money it generate and the time it takes from my family!
