Wife's pregnant and I'm starting to obssess about how I'm going to take care of them. Do you sing full time, or do you have a day job?

(I'm guest #2 with the 12 month old) I have a day job, but my goal is to sing full time, even though I have put the career on hold in order to provide for my family. Paying for lessons for the both of us was brutal.
My wife and I are hopefully going to be singing in Rome together this summer.

Just thought I'd check in again... the wife and I made it to Italy this summer! I sang Tamino and she sang the 2nd Lady. We took our baby with us (she is now almost 2) and we had a great time. We decided to make the move to NYC. I am already in NY, staying with some relatives and my wife is staying with her family until we figure out our living arrangements. It is difficult, but we're making it work.
Anyone else there?

Please read my response in "Anybody out there?", It is a wonderful solution to your problem! It has worked great for me! Yes I worked full time while I built the business, but since building the business, I can be a full time dad and sing! I also produce concerts and will eventually set up scholarships for inner city children to study classical music, who can't afford it! I would not be able to do this with a traditional job and they little money it generate and the time it takes from my family!
