Considering 1st baby

My husband and I have been married for a year and are considering having our first baby. We are fortunate that he has a great fest contract in Germany. I myself have not had such luck. I am conflicted: I'm 28 and had a slow start into the business. I fear that if I have a baby now, I will miss some precious years to be considered for YAPs. On the other hand, I feel this is the perfect age for me to start my family.

Has anyone out there had some success 'starting' thier career after baby? I don't think I am ready to walk away from it just to be a mommy.

That speaks volumes. I don't think you're ready. No such thing as "just" a mommy. Concentrate on your singing for now. When you no longer feel that being a mother is second fiddle to life, you'll be ready.
