Loss of voice while Pregnant

Thank you SOOO much for your article on singing & pregnancy. I think you've hit the nail on the head for me. I've had a really rough pregnancy, sickness (Hyperemisis Gravidarum) & new asthma issues and I thought my lack of voice was just my body getting over everything else it's been through. Unfortunately, nothing has improved for several weeks, and I was starting to worry. I'm hoarse, and when my voice has come back I have major areas of my higher range that have just disappeared all together. I can sing below and above them, but some middle areas just cut out. It's the weirdest thing I've ever experienced. Of course I was fearing I was damaging my voice even by just trying to talk.

If you know of anyone in my area that could help, I would be forever in your debt.

I'm in Upstate NY near Rochester, Buffalo is an option but it's over
an hour away from me.

Eat lemons. and drink boiled lemon and onion tea. here's the recipe. cut up a lemon and half an onion, let it boil in a small pot. strain the liquid from the slices. drink the liquid. it horrible but it works my grandmother made it for me.
